Terms of Use

Last updated: 10/29/2026

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Color Confidence LLC ("Color Confidence," "I," "me"). They cover your use of my website at colorconfidencenow.com and my course school on Teachable, and everything you buy from either, including the Color Confidence course, palette PDFs, Season Guides, and bundles. By using either site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and my Privacy Policy. Course purchases are also covered by Teachable's Terms of Use; if these Terms conflict with Teachable's, Teachable's terms take precedence.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to make a purchase. If you're younger, a parent or guardian must make the purchase and agree to these Terms. Please give accurate information and keep your login private. Each account is for one person, so please don't share your login.

2. What you're buying

The Color Confidence course is a self-paced online course hosted on Teachable. What's included in each option is described on the sales page and at checkout. Your Seasonal Beauty Guide and palette files from the course are delivered through a short form at the end of the course and by email, or as downloads inside the course.

Website downloads. Palette PDFs, Season Guides, and bundles bought on my website are emailed to you as a download link that expires 24 hours after purchase. If you click an expired link, a fresh one is sent to the email you used at checkout, or you can email me for a new one. Please save your files once you've downloaded them.

Lifetime access. Your purchase includes lifetime access. That means you can use the course, including any updates I make, for as long as I offer it on Teachable or a platform that replaces it. If I ever retire the course, I'll give enrolled students at least 30 days' notice by email so you can download your palettes, guides, and worksheets.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout. Course purchases go through Teachable's checkout and website purchases through Squarespace's checkout, both processed by Stripe, and charges appear on your statement as Color Confidence. Sales tax or VAT may be added where required. I may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect purchases you've already made. Launch pricing, coupons, and other promotions are available only for the time stated and aren't applied to earlier purchases.

Add-ons and upgrades. If you accept an offer at checkout or an upgrade offer after purchase, you'll be charged the amount shown with the offer.

Bundle upgrade credit. If you buy a seasonal family bundle, you can apply a $67 credit toward the full course within 30 days of your bundle purchase, using the link or code I send you. The credit has no cash value, can be used once, and can't be combined with other discounts. If you buy the Color Confidence course, you can apply a $52 credit toward the Complete Library of 12 Season Color Palettes and Beauty Guides within 30 days of your course purchase, using the link or code I send you. The credit has no cash value, can be used once, and can't be combined with other discounts.

4. All sales are final

No refunds. You get immediate access to the course and digital files when you buy, so all sales are final. I don't offer refunds on any purchase, including the course, upgrades, palette PDFs, Season Guides, and bundles. By completing your purchase, you agree to this policy.

File problems. If a file is damaged or won't open, email me at andy@colorconfidencenow.com and I'll send a replacement.

If you have a problem with a charge, please email me before filing a dispute with your bank. I'll do my best to make it right.

5. My content and how you may use it

Everything on my website and in my school, including videos, slides, palettes, guides, worksheets, text, and the Color Confidence method, belongs to me and is protected by copyright and other laws. When you buy, I give you a personal, non-transferable license to use your materials for your own non-commercial use.

You may:

  • Watch the lessons and use the materials to find your own colors

  • Print or save your palettes, guides, and worksheets for personal use

  • Share your own results, like "I'm a Soft Summer," and tag @andybbuildsconfidence

You may not:

  • Share your login or let anyone else use your account

  • Copy, record, resell, or redistribute any course materials, in whole or in part

  • Post palettes, guides, slides, or lesson content online, including on social media

  • Use the materials to teach a course or provide paid color analysis services

  • Upload the materials to AI tools to create products, or to train AI models

If you break these rules, I may end your access.

6. Comments and community

If you post comments or questions in the course, please be kind and respectful. No harassment, spam, self-promotion, or sharing other people's personal information. I may remove posts that break these rules. By posting, you give me the right to display your post within the school and to share it, in whole or in part, on social media and in my marketing. I won't include your name, photo, or other identifying details without your written permission.

7. Results disclaimer

Color analysis involves judgment. Lighting, cameras, screens, makeup, and hair color can all affect what you see. Colors on your screen or in a printed file may not match fabric, makeup, or paint exactly. I can't guarantee that you'll identify your season with certainty, or promise any particular outcome.

The course is for education and personal style. It isn't medical, psychological, or professional advice. Before trying new makeup or hair color, follow product instructions, do a patch test, and see a licensed professional for chemical hair services.

8. Links and other products

The course may mention or link to outside products, brands, or websites. I don't control them and am not responsible for them. If I ever earn a commission from a link, I'll say so clearly.

9. No warranties

My website, school, and materials are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, I make no warranties beyond what these Terms state, including warranties that they will always be available or error-free.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of my website, school, or products. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Ending access

You can stop using my website and school at any time. I may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, such as by sharing your login or redistributing materials.

12. Changes

I may update the course content to keep it current. I may also update these Terms. If I do, I'll change the date at the top, and significant changes will be emailed to customers. Continuing to use my website or school after an update means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. If there's ever a problem, please email me first so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can't, any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in McLean County, Illinois, though either of us may use small claims court where eligible.

14. The fine print

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If I don't enforce a term right away, I haven't waived it. These Terms, my Privacy Policy, and Teachable's Terms of Use are the full agreement between us about my website, school, and products.
